What is motion?
Motion is one of the important physics concepts needed for this project. For this module you have to complete experiment that can be used to define what motion is and complete the following Google form.
What is motion
What is your teachers name?
*
Mr Parker
Mr Paton
Mr Gounder
Mrs McCormack
Mrs Taylor
Mr Sharrock
What is your name?
*
In one word, define motion.
*
Each time the trolley started to move what was needed, to initiate this movement? *
*
Force
Momentum
Energy
Friction
Lets turn that into a law, write why things move as a law. *
*
Based on the first law that we just wrote what can be a second law about what happens when we change the movement of an object? *
*
But how do we know something is moving? If you are in a car and close your eyes do you feel like it is moving? *
*
Yes
No
If we do/don't feel the like we are moving and no other senses help us to know we are moving how do we know we are moving?
*
Lets write one more law, how do we know we are moving? *
